Key Stage 2 AssessmentAt the end of Year 6, pupils take SATs in reading, grammar, punctuation, spelling and mathematics. Writing and science are assessed by teachers.
SATs results are reported using scaled scores from 80–120. A score of 100 or above means a pupil has met the expected standard.
Pupils achieving 110 or above are working at the higher standard (Greater Depth). Schools also report the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined.
These results help us celebrate achievement, identify areas for development and plan support for pupils' continued progress.

Phonics Data
Year 1 Phonics Screening CheckIn Year 1, pupils complete the Phonics Screening Check, a short assessment of their ability to read words using their phonics knowledge. The check includes both real and unfamiliar (pseudo) words.

Early Years GLD
Good Level of Development (GLD)At the end of Reception, pupils are assessed against the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. A pupil achieves a Good Level of Development (GLD) by meeting the expected level in the key areas of communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy and mathematics.
