Our Year 5 Curriculum
PE days
PE days: Thursday and Friday. Please bring in the correct kit (plain white t-shirt, black shorts/tracksuit bottoms and trainers/pumps)Homework
- Homework and Spellings: Given out on a Wednesday to be returned on the following Monday. Spellings will be set on Spelling Shed as well for children to practise.
- Reading books and diaries to be exchanged as many times as possible throughout the week. Children are expected to read at home at least three times a week and for carer/parent to sign the diary.
Expectations:
- 10 new spellings to be learnt a week.
- Reading 3x per week.
- Reading books and diaries to be in school everyday.
- TT Rockstars as much as possible to improve fluency.
- Full school uniform to be worn in school.
